Placement Cell Overview :
The Placement Cell at Akemi Business School plays a crucial role in fostering a symbiotic connection between students and experienced mentors with significant industrial exposure. Overseen by the Placement Cell Head and coordinated by students in the Placement Committee, the on-campus placement process undergoes annual refinements for the convenience of both students and recruiters.
This strategic initiative not only allows students to leverage their work experience and secure higher-level positions within companies but also enables organizations to recruit seamlessly integrated individuals without intensive training. The Institute supports this process with comprehensive infrastructural assistance.
Placement Policy :
- Constant search for job-fit after due diligence as per student competencies.
- At least two on- and off-campus placement opportunities for each student.
- Training students to generate interest in prospective employers during their Summer Internship Projects (SIP).
- Maintaining job quality and ensuring optimum remuneration for students.
- Adequate soft skills and personality development training during the Pre-Placement Process.
- 360-degree feedback and follow-up post-final placement to strengthen the alumni base.
Placement: Rules and Regulations :
- 70% attendance is mandatory for placement assistance eligibility.
- Only students with excellent academic achievement are eligible for assistance.
- Students with backlogs in the first-year MBA program are not eligible.
- Distinction in value-addition courses offered by the institute is mandatory for placement eligibility.
- Students must voluntarily show their willingness to participate in placement activities.
- Regularly check placement notices displayed on the notice board.
